• IDLE presentation: “Discovery artists” EFEEA residency artists Flor de Fuego and Blaz Plavlika who have developed an unique visual instrument for the Web Virtual Reality (WebVR) environment IDLE using the live coding framework Hydra.

• Presentation of the exhibition “A knock from below heard at the bottom” from Polina Medvedeva and the artistic director Julie Lillelien Porter from Lydgalleriet.

Piksel is an international event for artists and developers working with Free/Libre and Open Source technologies in artistic practice.

Founded in 2003, it is organised in Bergen, Norway, and involves participants from more than a dozen countries exchanging ideas, coding, presenting art and software projects, doing workshops, performances and discussions on the aesthetics and politics of art and free technologies.

Piksel is supported by the Municipality of Bergen, Arts Council Norway and others.
