With our ongoing project Inclusive Digital Laboratory for Experimental Art (IDLE) recognized as a useful tool by the Toolkit of Care network, Piksel representatives will present the concept of IDLE and its possibilities to the International Electronic Art Symposium 2023 Audience.

IDLE intends to offer a creative virtual meeting point for school kids, youngsters, people with reduced mobility, artists performing remotely who want to interact with the physical world, and all of those art curious lovers that want to look for new physical-virtual new experiences.

*Digi.Komp*

Back in April, Piksel traveled to Slovenia, facilitating workshops for Digi.Komp, a Cultural cooperation with Slovenian partners through the EEA and Norway Grants. The project aims to answer the growing demands for the use of digital content in society and lift digital competency among children, adults, and the elderly.

As part of the visit program in Slovenia, Piksel connected with likeminded organizations and creative individuals such as the members of KONS – platform for contemporary investigative art. Utilizing the time outside of workshops, the Piksel representatives were able to explore the exhibition hosted by KONS as well as delve into the contemporary electronic art scene of Slovenia.

Digi.Komp collaboration continues with another round of workshops in September.
