As presented in his Notstandskomitee performance at Piksel07, Malte Steiner just released the first version of Minicomputer which was used as his only soundsource during the performance. He is also going to show it at the clubnight at LAC in Cologne this weekend and demo it in March at the Musik Messe in Frankfurt.

Minicomputer is a standalone Linux softwaresynthesizer for creating experimental electronic sounds as its often used in Industrial music, IDM, EBM, Glitch, sound design and minimal electronic. It is monophonic but can produce up to 8 different sounds at the same time.
It uses Jack as realtime audio infrastructure and can be controlled via Midi.
